According to the latest news from foreign media, Get That Domain Name (GTDN) will be upgraded with a new domain name DNX.com, which is still under construction. This rebranding is not only a simplification from four letters to three letters, but also an upgrade of brand positioning, bringing GTDN a more recognizable and simple brand image.

There is also an interesting acquisition story behind the domain name DNX.com. Back in 2013, domain investor Andrew Rosener purchased DNX.com and was interviewed by domain industry insider Michael Cyger. In the interview, Michael asks Andrew about the details of his purchase of DNX.com.
Excerpts from the interview:
-Michael: One of the domain names you purchased was the three-letter DNX.com. was this a personal purchase or did you acquire it on behalf of someone else?
-Andrew: Yes, I did acquire DNX.com, but I actually negotiated and purchased it on behalf of my partner, Chris Crowther.
-Michael: How much did the deal cost at the time?
-Andrew: The price is not easy to disclose, but it's safe to say that we didn't buy it at the market reseller price. I think that unless it's a big domain like Domain.com or Domains.com, DNX.com is one of the absolute best brands for the domain industry. Especially with the presence of industry icons like DN Journal, DN Forum and DN Wire, DNX.com is even more uniquely valuable.
With this upgrade, GTDN's branding is more distinct and DNX.com will deliver a clean and powerful brand identity.
