According to foreign media reports, domain investor and entrepreneur Brent Oxley recently made a significant domain acquisition – Selfie.com.
According to the domain broker Igor Furdyk, who handled the transaction, the domain was acquired for a six-figure USD amount.
Selfie.com is not the first recent acquisition by Brent Oxley, who is known for his in-car selfies. The domain was last registered in 2010, following two drops. It has been in existence since 2001, predating the widespread use of the term "selfie," which was officially introduced in 2002.
Some of the other domains recently acquired by Brent Oxley include:
- Abusive.com
- Disobedience.com
- Ensuing.com
About a month ago, Birth.com was another major acquisition by Brent Oxley. Since then, he has been managing his domains on Namecheap, as a dispute with an independent broker temporarily locked them on GoDaddy.
Brent Oxley operates Oxley.com and OxHuntingRanch.com.
