The well-known domain information platform, DN Journal, regularly updates domain transaction data, and recently, they provided updates on domain transactions for the past two weeks. Of particular note is that the two recent six-figure transactions were both successfully completed by the internationally renowned domain investor, Andy Booth.
In these transactions, Miri.com was sold for $199,995, and the AI domain Precise.ai changed hands for $110,000. These remarkable deals secured Andy Booth a leading position in the top 20 domain sales chart on DN Journal.
Andy Booth, an early participant in the field of artificial intelligence, is also an avid supporter of the flourishing .ai top-level domain. His Precise.ai transaction resulted in this domain suffix holding five out of the top six positions in the YTD Top 100 ccTLD Chart, with the first position taken by You.ai, which sold for $700,000.
While .com domains dominate the top spot, ccTLDs secured the second position, and non-.com gTLDs entered the top tier this week as well. The .cloud registry's sale of ML.cloud for $87,200 claimed the third position, marking it as the sixth-largest publicly reported transaction in this category this year.
The latest chart reflects a diverse range of entries, with 50% belonging to .com domains and the other half to non-.com domains. Notable sales include Relu.com, which was sold for $58,888, 802.com, changing hands for $53,499, and Weapons.com, completing a transaction at $45,750.
