Three-letter (LLL.com) and four-letter (LLLL.com) domains are highly valuable in the domain market due to their short, memorable, and rare nature. They are not only suitable for investment but can also be used for personal projects.
In the days following National Day, the domain industry has been buzzing with activity, with a significant increase in domain transactions, especially for short domains like three-letter and four-letter .com domains. The highest price was for Door, which sold for $1.4 million! Here are four examples of recent high-quality domain transactions:
1. Three-letter domain tok.com
Just last night, the three-letter domain tok.com sold for $860,000, equivalent to approximately 628,000 Chinese yuan. The domain is now owned by a domestic investor. Congratulations!
2. Four-letter domain Bezi.com
On October 12th, Bezi.com sold for $95,000! This domain had previously changed hands in 2008 for just over $1,000, but in the recent transaction, it sold for $95,000, equivalent to about 693,000 Chinese yuan. This serves as proof that high-quality domains are becoming increasingly valuable over time.
3. Four-letter domain Nano.com
According to recent SEC filings by NANOMIX CORPORATION, the company sold the Nano.com domain to a third party for $250,000 in 2022, equivalent to approximately 1.8 million Chinese yuan. "Nano" has various meanings, including "nanotechnology," making this domain highly valuable.
4. Four-letter domain Door.com
According to reports from foreign media, Door.com was likely acquired by Latch, Inc., the company operating Latch.com, for a high price of $1.4 million, approximately 10 million Chinese yuan. Congratulations to them! The domain had previously sold for $65,000 in February 2007, and in 16 years, its price skyrocketed to $1.4 million, demonstrating a very high return on investment.
Three-letter (LLL.com) and four-letter (LLLL.com) domains are highly sought after in the domain market due to their short, memorable, and scarce nature. They hold significant investment value and can be used for personal projects. As the number of available domains decreases, their prices continue to rise. Therefore, getting hold of three-letter and four-letter domains requires early planning.
Here are a few three-letter domains currently available in the market: PZP.com, BYB.com, BTB.com.
