Over the past three weeks of summer vacation, we've observed some anomalies in the sales charts. When the data sample is small, .com's monopoly on the sales charts usually diminishes. The smaller the amount of data, the lower the frequency of high-end sales, which provides more opportunities for other TLDs to rise.

This time around, we see a trend where .org domains top the charts (FG.org sold for $95,000), followed by .net (Travelful.net sold for $81,000), while .com comes in third (XUG.com sold for $42,898). This phenomenon highlights the potential for .org and .net domains to outperform the market for traditional .com domains under certain data conditions.

While .com domains did not have the highest sales, as usual, there were 10 of them. The non-.com gTLD matches the 5 entries released for ccTLDs. Here's how the leaders ranked for the three weeks ending Sunday, July 28, 2024
