Whether you support Donald Trump or Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States, one thing is certain: politicians are not royalty; they are here to serve the entire country, its interests and its people.
The official websites of the US candidates are more or less known; Donald J. Trump's official website is DonaldJTrump.com, while Kamala Harris' official website is KamalaHarris.com.
Both of these websites serve as a means of attracting voters and raising donations. Each candidate receives tens of millions of dollars in donations for each year's election, so the efficiency of raising donations is part of the game of American politics.
There are two domain names that are not used by either candidate, but may be open under certain circumstances.
Donald.com is one of them, registered in 1995.
Donald is not an uncommon name, and if you're a Disney fan, it's also the name of Disney's infamous “Angry” character Donald Duck. Donald.com appears to be up for sale in recent months and is being brokered:
Meanwhile, the domain name Kamala.com was registered in 1995, nearly three weeks before Donald.com.
Kamala is a Sanskrit word meaning lotus and is used as a female name in Indian culture. The domain name is used by Dana Brown, a perfume and aromatherapy entrepreneur in Barrington, Illinois; her father nicknamed her “Kamala”.
So here it is: two presidential candidates with names ending in .com, including one “for sale” domain and one available for sale.
