Q2 2024:Escrow mobile domain sales exceed $20 million

As of mid-2024, Escrow.com, a third-party domain name trading warranty service platform, has released its Q2 2024 Liquid Domain Name Sales Report. This report is designed to present key statistics and stimulate discussion among industry stakeholders about the fair value of such domain names.

The report contains a list of actual transactions for the top-level domains (2L, 3L, 2N, 3N, 4N, 2C), as well as an indicative sample of transactions (top 10, median, and bottom 10 sales) for the lower tiers of the mobile market (4L, 5N, 3C).

Here are some highlights from the 2024 Q2 report:

-According to Escrow.com, Q2 was another solid quarter with nearly $20 million in liquid domain sales (+9.86%).

-The 5th percentile values for the most liquid categories (4L, 5N, 2C.com) remained stable, confirming a $100 floor price for 4L.

-The highest selling categories were 3L ($8.2 million) and 4L ($10 million), according to Escrow.com.
