The first bi-weekly domain sales chart of the 2024 sales season is out, and it appears that buyers have swiftly returned to the market after the holiday break. Our initial all-extension Top 10 Sales Chart is led by three solid six-figure transactions.
Leading the pack is Peace.com, sold for $400,000. Two single-digit .io domain names follow closely behind: 7.io at $150,000 and 0.io at $125,000, once again ringing the six-figure bell.
Here is how all of the leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, January 21, 2024:
.com domains have started the new year with the same dominant posture as last year. ccTLDs also had a strong showing, claiming six spots on the elite list, including two blockbuster .io transactions and Sedo's MBA.ai tying for 6th place at $50,000.
These data are sourced from DN Magazine, who stated, "Since this is the first chart of the year, it also serves as the Year-to-Date Top Sales Chart, so we have left the 2023 Top 100 Sales Charts in place on our YTD Sales Charts page. When our next sales report comes out February 7, 2024, we will move the 2023 Charts to our Domain Sales Archive (where the top 100 charts from all previous years also reside) and replace them on the YTD Charts Page with 2024's first Year to Date Charts."
