The domain sales season of 2023 has come to a close. Due to most companies being on holiday, we have just compiled the results from the closing weeks of the year.
Braden Pollock from LegalBrandMarketing.com has already completed five transactions on the 2023 Top 100 sales chart. His sixth transaction, a year-end deal for EZE.com at $200,000, leads the final chart for the year across all extensions. Braden also secured a spot on the latest leaderboard with the $25,000 sale of Vertex.net, ranking eighth.
In the top seven sales, .com domains claimed six positions, accounting for 16 out of 20 overall. Notably, the top two positions were recently occupied by satisfactory $80,000 transactions, namely Culinary.com and Grades.com.
Non-.com gTLDs also finished the year on a high note, with two transactions in the top half of the chart and three overall. The seventh-ranked domain, Ten.xyz, was sold for $29,888.
Although ccTLDs had multiple entries on almost all of our all-extension Top 20 Charts this year, they were limited to just one entry in the final lap around the 2023 track. Sedo's sale of EnergieAusweis.de ("energy certificate" in German) ranked 11th and was sold for $19,457.
The following are the rankings for the three weeks ending Sunday, January 7, 2024:

DN Journal Top 20 Highest Reported Domain Sales - Mon. Dec. 18 - Sun. Jan. 7, 2024 (Foreign currency to U.S. Dollar Conversions Based on Rates in Effect Jan. 10, 2024)
Please keep in mind that these are the highest value cash-only sales reported to DN Journal in the past two weeks. This column is meant to be an educational tool, not a complete list documenting ALL high-value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce because many sales are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers, or both.
