On October 24th, Socrates.com made a significant leap to the top with a price of $600,000 (approximately ¥4.39 million). It was acquired by a Web3 company and is currently in use as a blockchain website.
Socrates.com was registered in April 1994 and derives its name from the renowned Greek philosopher Socrates, holding substantial global influence. The website indicates that Socrates.com serves as a global Web3 social media and entertainment platform based on the Polygon blockchain.
2. PFA.com $450,000
On October 24th, PFA.com was sold for $450,000 (approximately ¥3.29 million) by Apex Moon. The buyer intends to use it to create a B2B online marketplace for consumer goods, snacks, and cleaning tools.
PFA.com was registered in May 1995, and most two-letter and three-letter domains were registered around that time, making this registration particularly timely.
3. Betting.online $400,000
On October 19th, the non-.com domain Betting.online was sold for $400,000 (approximately ¥2.93 million). This sale secured its place as the third-ranking domain, attracting considerable attention from the industry, given its non-.com status.
Betting.online was registered in April 2019, with just over four years since registration. Comprising the prefix 'Betting' and the .online suffix, the domain conveys the meaning of 'online betting,' making it highly suitable for online betting-related gaming projects.
4. Nuum.com $150,000
On October 11th, the four-letter domain Nuum.com was sold for $150,000 (approximately ¥1.1 million).
Nuum.com was registered in January 2005. 'Nuum' is associated with a well-known overseas women's clothing brand and a cryptocurrency token name, among other things. The domain remains unused as of the current visit.
5. Accelerator.com $145,000
On October 20th, Accelerator.com was sold for $145,050 (approximately ¥1.06 million).
Accelerator.com was registered in July 1996 and carries the meaning of 'accelerator.' This common word domain currently remains unused.
6. SecondBrain.com $120,000
SecondBrain.com was sold for $120,000, approximately ¥870,000. While the exact transaction date hasn't been disclosed, it's expected to have taken place in the early to mid-October. In Chinese, 'SecondBrain' means 'the second brain' and is a popular word domain, suitable for logic and thinking-related websites.
7. Bezi.com
On October 12th, the premium four-letter domain Bezi.com was sold for $95,000 (approximately ¥693,000).
Bezi.com was registered in September 2003, marking over 20 years since registration. 'Bezi' is a CVCV combination domain with a pronounceable name in English, yet it currently remains unused.
