Karn Jajoo, the Head of Premium Domains at Radix, stated that the buyer of Betting.online was a business group that had previously acquired Casino.online for over $200,000 in 2017. This transaction takes the top spot on the 2023 sales chart for non-.com gTLDs. Betting.online also ties with Giveaway.com, ranking fifth on the 2023 domain sales leaderboard.

.online is a top-level domain operated by the Radix domain registry and received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in 2017, officially entering the Chinese market. With over 600,000 registrations worldwide, .online domains are among the top ten in the global new top-level domain market. The Betting.online domain was registered in April 2019 and consists of the prefix "Betting" and the ".online" suffix, conveying the meaning of "online betting," making it well-suited for online betting and gaming projects.
