Amazon Registry Officially Launches .fast, .talk, and .you New Top-Level Domains

Amazon Registry has officially launched three new top-level domains (gTLDs): .fast, .talk, and .you. These extensions will undergo a one-month "sunrise period" from August 26 to September 25, 2025, during which only trademark holders with TMCH verification will be eligible to register. After the sunrise period ends on September 25, the domains will enter general registration, open to the public worldwide on a first-come, first-served basis.

To meet early registration demand, Amazon Registry has also launched an 11-day Early Access Program (EAP), which will last until October 5. During this period, registration fees will decrease daily: the highest price will be on the first day, and the price will decrease each day until the end of the EAP. Taking registrar 101Domain's pricing as an example, the first-day registration fee for the three new extensions was $11,999, dropping to $2,049 on the fifth day and $199 on the final day.

After the EAP period ends, these three domains will be generally available for registration on October 6, 2025, and the annual fees will return to normal. According to data released by 101Domain, the registration price for .fast is approximately $38.99 per year, .talk is $53.99 per year, and .you is $29.99 per year, placing the overall price range between $30 and $54.

In terms of functionality and application scenarios, .you is considered highly versatile. Similar to the previously popular .me, .you is suitable for combining with verbs and phrases to create more interactive and personalized domain names.
