Graybar Electric, an American electrical communications company, is an American wholesale distributor of electrical, communications, and data networking products, and also provides related supply chain management and logistics services. Headquartered in Clayton, Missouri, the company is employee-owned.

Graybar was founded on December 11, 1925, as a successor to the general power supply business of Western Electric, which was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1869 by Elisha Gray and Enos M. Barton. The separation of product lines was intended to distinguish the Bell System from Western Electric's telephone supply business, as the Bell System was the world's largest distributor of electrical and related equipment in the 1920s.
In 1995, Graybar debuted on the Fortune 500 list, which ranks the largest U.S. companies by revenue. At that time, Graybar's revenue exceeded $2 billion.
Graybar's revenue subsequently reached $3 billion in 1996, $4 billion in 1999, and $5 billion in 2000. In 2015, the company's revenue exceeded $6 billion.
