In terms of average sales price, it was US$955 in 2024, lower than around US$1,215 in 2023. Despite the decline in average selling price, the growth in overall sales indicates that the growth in market demand and the expansion of transaction size offset the impact of price changes.

It is worth mentioning that GoDaddy dominated the sales of .org domain names in 2024 and became a major player. Of the total 11,959 transactions, 7,984 transactions occurred on GoDaddy, accounting for a high proportion. And out of the total sales of US$11.4 million, GoDaddy received US$7.5 million, fully demonstrating its strong market share and influence in this field.

The outstanding performance of the .org domain name market in 2024 reflects the continued demand for this domain name in the Internet industry and the continuous expansion of the market. With the acceleration of the digitalization process, the demand for high-quality domain names by various organizations and enterprises will further increase, and it is expected that the .org domain name market will still have broad room for development in the future.
