Surprise! The million-dollar domain name Anybody.com is said to have been acquired!

Previously, Anybody.com was listed on Afternic for $1.249 million. On December 15, someone claimed to have successfully acquired the domain name, but the specific price was not disclosed.

The buyer said on social media: "I was originally planning to buy a Patek Philippe watch or an Aston DB11 AMR, but I finally chose this: ANYBODY.COM, which will be launched in 2025. Don't you think it's interesting?" The tweet also attached a photo of the domain name.

He also revealed that the acquisition process went through "3 different domain name brokers and weeks of negotiations."

At present, the WHOIS information of Anybody.com has not changed, and the domain name is still listed on Afternic. It is still unclear whether the acquisition is a direct purchase or a transaction reached through the LTO (lease purchase) program.
