Mike Mann, a well-known domain name investor, recently sold the WWi.com domain name for US$350,000 (approximately Rs. 2.51 million), a deal that once again highlights the strong demand for three-letter domain names in the marketplace. WWi.com domain name was registered in January 1997, and was sold for US$22,500 (approximately Rs. 1.61 million) in 2007 on the Sedo trading platform.

The buyer of WWi.com this time is suspected to be Global Investment (HK) Ltd.
