The company using the domain name BBit.com, 2B Interactive, is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands and has been providing ERP and e-commerce solutions to a large number of companies in the manufacturing, retail and education markets since 1997.

The company's official website, 2binteractive.nl, appears to have been down for some time. 2BInteractive Group consists of three business units: 2B Interactive, 2B BBIT, and 2B Education. 2BBBIT is exclusively oriented towards retail customers and uses the domain BBit.com.

In 2009, 2B Interactive was acquired by the German company itelligence AG and operated under itelligence.ag. The domain name has also been discontinued, but is still registered.

In short: after two long rounds of corporate rebranding, it's not surprising that assets such as BBit.com have been allowed to lapse. It's unclear whether the potential trademarks are still valid.
