NamesCon Global 2024 came to a successful conclusion on June 8 in Austin, U.S.A. The conference kicked off on June 4 at the Omni Hotel in downtown U.S.A. and lasted for four days. During the conference, attendees focused on business networking and sharing the latest news and trends in the domain name industry, while the Farewell Fun Day on June 8 was held at the Pelons Tex-Mex restaurant, which left everyone with great memories.
NamesCon is the premier event for the domain name industry, bringing together registrars, service providers, brokers, intellectual property attorneys, brand protection and management organizations, investors and startups.
Visit the Senate Hall
Before the conference begins, people most often visit the exhibit hall to talk to their favorite service providers and learn about the latest news from other service providers. Exhibit halls at the conference include GoDaddy, Atom, DN.com, Above.com and Dynadot, to name a few.↓↓↓

A little further down the exhibit hall, the Atom.com (formerly known as SquadHelp) and Sedo/InterNetX booths welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout the show.

DN.com was the only exhibitor that traveled from mainland China to attend the conference. The booth was prominently located on the second floor and attracted many guests who came to visit and take pictures with CEO JACK, who brought many gifts from China, including hats and fans, which were loved by his friends.↓↓↓

June 5 The Growing Popularity of .AI Domains and the Future of Web 3
The business meeting was held in two venues at the Omni Hotel in the city center, one in Keynote Hall on the second floor and the other on the Moniker Stage next to the exhibition area on the first floor.

There were interview sessions on the opening day with three of the greatest domain name brokers/consultants of all time, including back-to-back interviews with Andrew Miller, Managing Director of Hilco Digital Assets, and Jen Sale, Founder of Evergreen.com, as well as an afternoon interview with MediaOptions.com founder Andrew Rosener.↓↓↓
The conference is packed, with seven sessions on the keynote stage alone! The first session at 2:00 p.m. was led by (from left to right) moderator Todd Ryan (CEO of American Business Capital Corp. and ABC Productions), eCorp leader Chad Folkening, and MediaOptions CEO Andrew Rosener moderated. They analyze the growing popularity of .AI domains and the future of Web 3, including features such as segmentation and tokenization, while pondering the future of domains.↓↓↓
There's one last thing before we get to the second Thursday (June 6) of NamesCon Global. That would be Sedo and InterNetX hosting an invitational pre-conference party, which has become a tradition in itself.
This year's Sedo/InterNetX party was held at Pete's Dueling Pianos Bar in Austin, just a few blocks from the show hotel. The whole party atmosphere was very happy.↓↓↓
Escrow Issues Top 10 Winners on June 6

At the NamesCon domain name conference, Escrow.com announced the winners of the 2024 Domain Masters Award. The award is given to the 10 highest-earning domain name brokers, measured by the size of the deals they closed using Escrow.com last year.
Andrew Rosener (Andrew Rosener) was honored with Escrow.com's Broker of the Year Award for the sixth consecutive year! He and his team have outperformed all of their competitors in sales on the Escrow platform over the past several years. The honor was presented by Shaun McMeeken, Escrow.com's Director of Global Corporate & Hosting, and Sofia Canala, Operations Manager.↓↓↓
Top-ranked Andrew Rosener (Andrew Rosener) sold X.com to Elon Musk (Elon. Musk), Prime.com to Amazon, and Zoom.com to Zoom, just to name a few of his signature deals.
Second on the list are the high-dollar deals of Andrew Miller: he closed many of the biggest domain sales ever, including Chat.com, which sold for $15.5 million last year, and Gold.com, the biggest sale of the year so far: it sold for $8,515,000.

Pick a Winner June 7: Everyday Strategies and Tactics for Domain Name Investing
On June 7, the business meeting was once again held at the downtown Omni Hotel in two venues, one in Keynote Hall on the second floor and the other on the Moniker Stage next to the exhibit area on the first floor.On Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., NamesCon/Cloudfest CEO Christian Jaeger took to the Keynote Hall stage at 10 a.m. on Friday morning to brief guests on the schedule of events for the day and Saturday.↓↓↓
Following Christian's opening remarks, the first business meeting in the Keynote Lounge began with Matthew Gould, Founder and CEO of Unstoppable Domains, discussing how to get domain names on the chain to make the internet safer. A summary of the session stated, "With the advent of artificial intelligence, we're going to need more ways to verify authenticity online. Domain names are exactly the right technology to build digital identities - but they need to be upgraded. Domain names are the world's first real-world digital asset and will be the first industry to be 100% on-chain, bringing defi, fast settlement, verification and payments to consumers worldwide."↓↓↓
At 10:55 a.m., the audience was on the Moniker Stage getting ready for the next session, "Picking Winners: Everyday Strategies and Tactics for Domain Name Investing".
