Domain name rebranding isn't easy, but it just so happens to solve a host of problems affecting existing brands, and Squadhelp's announcement of a rebrand to Atom, operating under the domain name Atom.com, is as exciting as it is confusing.
Atom (formerly Squadhelp) announced the launch of AtomConnect, a new multi-tier networking tool that includes a domain distribution network.

Atom.com is apparently chasing a partnership with GoDaddy, aiming to work with “hundreds of companies, including registrars and startup service providers, to distribute domains and dramatically increase their exposure.”
There's a lot of good stuff going on behind the scenes at AtomConnect, including AtomPay, a portable payment solution that can be set up in “minutes”.
The best part: Atom acquired the domain AtomConnect.com from Mike Mann sometime in 2023 and can now use it as a branding springboard for its Atom.com portal.

Prior to that, AtomConnect.com was used by an educational platform in India. In this sense, the domain retains an active and relatively relevant array of backlinks in Google, despite its drop in rankings.
The new domain name Atom.com was registered in June 1995 and consists of the dictionary word atom. It's a short word reminiscent of Apple and its brand, and carries the atom, once considered an integral element of nature. The domain itself is excellent and old and has been transferred to Squadhelp through Andy Booth's inventory.
Note: Andy Booth mentioned to us at the time that he had acquired the domain name Atom.com from the previous owner, Viacom, for a seven-figure sum.

Squadhelp is a highly ranked brand thanks to its unique fictitious name consisting of two words, squad and help, which is a typical way to rank in Google and attract traffic with minimal or zero ad campaigns. Now, Squadhelp must not only convince Google to reorganize all of its content and inventory from Squadhelp.com to Atom.com, but it must once again pay Google Ads to rank for these services.
