Recently, NVIDIA announced on Twitter(X): "To help customers more effectively leverage AI computing resources, we have reached a final agreement to acquire Run:ai, a Kubernetes-based workload management and orchestration software provider."
According to a knowledgeable source, the exact acquisition price is $700 million (approximately 5.082 billion RMB).
Run:ai, an Israeli startup, operates under the domain name Run.ai and specializes in developing software for managing artificial intelligence (AI) computing resources.
This acquisition marks NVIDIA's second-largest acquisition in Israel, following its $6.9 billion acquisition of Mellanox Technologies in March 2019.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Run:ai's employees will join NVIDIA's local research and development center in Israel, collaborating with over 30,000 existing NVIDIA employees to advance the company's technology in the field of artificial intelligence.
